Community Connexions are looking for volunteer drivers to enable them to help more members of our community. The charity help many local residents by providing vital transport to people. This helps people retain their independence and tackle loneliness from social and rural isolation. Connexions rely on volunteers to help deliver their services and without volunteers they wouldn’t be able to take people shopping, to visit their loved ones or to health appointments. They are in urgent need of volunteer drivers in the local area. Expenses are paid and you can give as little or as much time as you have. Some volunteers give a few hours a week, others are nearer full time.
